Entry requirements for holidays with dogs in Croatia
Here are the current entry regulations and everything you need for entry and transit with a dog in Croatia.
- EU pet passport and microchip identification
- Proof of rabies vaccination (at least 21 days old)
- Entry ban for puppies under 15 weeks
- A maximum of 5 dogs are allowed to travel with them
- The following dogs are only allowed to enter Croatia with FCI documents and must wear a muzzle:
- Pit Bull Terrier
- Staffordshire Bull Terrier
- American Staffordshire Terrier
- Bull Terrier
- Miniature Bull Terrier
Our recommendation:
It is best to always carry a muzzle and leash with you on vacation, e.g. if you want to use public transport with the dog.
